Rejuvenation

Skin rejuvenation and the reversal of visible signs of aging is the ability to diminish wrinkles and lines as well as the possibility to lift sagging and loose skin, and to treat skin laxity.

There are several procedures and treatments practised in our clinic to achieve a youthful and healthy skin and diminish imperfections such as acne scars, pigmented spots, fine lines, rosacea and redness, vascular lesions and open pores.

Skin tone, texture and tightness is improved through one or more of the following methods:

  • Thread lift
  • Skin Tightening using radio frequency and micro-needling
  • Fillers (Hyaluronic acid)
  • Fractional
  • Resurfacing
  • Light Therapy
  • Peelings

THREAD LIFT (bi-directional cone technology, resorbable)

Resorbable threads are best used to treat sagging skin in particular the lower face (jawline and naso-labial folds), lifting the cheeks and treating the neck area.

The procedure itself is minimally invasive, with an immediate result and a progressive improvement of the skin in the weeks that follow.

Secondary effects include possibility of bruising, irregularities along the thread line, mild swelling and discomfort. These reactions are of a temporary nature.

Results last up to 18 months and the procedure can be repeated as necessary.

SKIN TIGHTENING using radio frequency and micro needling

This procedure involves the use of a radiofrequency (RF) micro needling device that delivers energy directly to the dermis through gold-plated microneedles. In this way a firming effect is obtained through the body’s natural reactions. This unique and innovative technology protects the top layer of the skin, allowing treatments on all skin types, also tanned skin.

The treatment is offered also if the patient is exposing the skin to the sun and there is little downtime or counter-indications.

The best protocol to follow is that of 3 sessions every 6/8 weeks, followed by an annual maintenance treatment.

Apart from skin sagging and laxity, this procedure is used to treat acne scars and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating of the armpits, hands and feet).

LIGHT THERAPY

The advantages of light therapy:

      • Stimulates the body’s own cellular mechanisms by photomodulation
      • Not a laser or an IPL so no heat, no side effects or downtime.
      • Non-invasive, non-ablative safe therapy
      • No damage to sub-dermal tissue
      • Relaxing and calming experience
      • Compatible with existing skin rejuvenation techniques such as Botox, IPLs, laser resurfacing and cosmetic surgery such as blepharoplasty and breast reduction and augmentation
      • Allows treatment of large areas such as the face and chest
      • Simple to operate
      • Economically viable
